The function we will realize is like this:
- Any FXS can call each other;
- Any FXS can call out through the available FXO of the 8FXO gateway;
- Any calls from any FXO will make the available FXS ring.
The related information of two gateways:
Let us configure the 8FXS gateway firstly:
Step 1: we will change the IP, the default IP of the gateway is 192.168.2.218, as usual, and the IP in the LAN is 192.168.1.X, so we will change the 8FXS gateway as 192.168.1.218.
We can connect our PC to the network port of gateway directly, and then change the local IP of our PC as 192.168.2.21.
After we save the settings, we can input the IP address 192.168.2.218 in the IE browser, and the default password of web page is voip.
After we login it, we will change the IP address as 192.168.1.218.
Step2: please go to line->feature, and disable Registration, and then enable the options:
call waiting, CID on call waiting, Call hold, Caller transfer, Caller ID display, 3-way.
Please do the same setting in all lines.
Step3: please set the routing like this.
FXS 8 route IP 127.0.0.1:5060
It means any FXS port dials the number starting with 8, and the call will go to the gateway itself.
Here 127.0.0.1 is the gateway itself.
FXS x route IP 192.168.1.217:5060
It means any FXS dials any number, and the call will go to the gateway 192.168.1.217.
IP[192.168.1.217:5060] X route FXS 1-8
It means any calls from the IP 192.168.1.217 will go to the FXS 1-8 in a sequential way.
if FXS1 is busy, the call will go to FXS 2.
After we finish it, please restart the gateway, and if we will log in the gateway later, you need to input the IP 192.168.1.218.
Let us set the 8FXO gateway.
Step1: please set the network, and change the IP address as 192.168.1.217, and the method is same as the 8FXS gateway.
Step 2: please go to Line->trunk, and do the setting like this:
FXO 1: 7000
FXO 2: 7001
FXO 3: 7002
FXO 4: 7003
FXO 5: 7004
FXO 6: 7005
FXO 7: 7006
FXO 8: 7007
Binding number: 888
Caller ID detection means when someone calls in the FXO, the gateway will detect the real caller ID, and it will display on the analog phone.
Step 3: we can input the routing like this:
IP[192.168.1.218:5060] x route FXO 1-8
It means any calls from the IP 192.168.1.218 will go to the FXO 1-8 in a sequential way.
FXO X route IP 192.168.1.218:5060
It means any calls from any FXO will go to the IP 192.168.1.218.
After we finish the setting, we will restart the gateway, and if we hope to login the gateway later, we will use the IP address 192.168.1.217.
