Elastix connects with FXO gateway through IP to IP

If the elastix and 4FXO gateway are in the same LAN, and you hope to realize the function below:

The extension 801 dials any outbound calls, which will go out through the FXO 1;

The extension 802 dials any outbound calls, which will go out through the FXO 2;

The extension 803 dials any outbound calls, which will go out through the FXO 3;

The extension 804 dials any outbound calls, which will go out through the FXO 4;

Any calls from FXO1 will make the extension 801 ring;

Any calls from FXO2 will make the extension 802 ring;

Any calls from FXO3 will make the extension 803 ring;

Any calls from FXO4 will make the extension 804 ring;

Here we connect them through IP to IP.

Firstly, let us set the elastix.

1. we will create one sip trunk.

1

here 192.168.1.237 is the IP address of gateway.

2. we will create the outbound route.

2

so when any extension dials 9+any number, the call will go to the trunk TOVG .

 Secondly, let us set the 4FXO gateway.

1. we will go to the page Basic->SIP, and set the auto sip port selection as 10, just in order to avoid the call issue later.

3

2. let us set the routing.

5

IP    CPN801   ROUTE     FXO    1

it means when 801 dials any number, which will go out through FXO 1.

FXO     X    ROUTE     IP     192.168.1.248:2468

it means when gateway receives any calls from the FXO, it will go to the elatsix.

3. let us set the  FXO.

6

here we set binding number 801, so when the FXO 1 receives any incoming calls, 801 will ring directly.

The settings of  FXO 2, FXO 3, and FXO 4 are as follows:
